"on the 16th street mall" features Colin Ward on street drums. the audio of Colin is from a video i took in the summer of 2017. check out Colin's massive catalogue under his projects K!lld By and alphabets

"funky fresh (from Rising Tones Cross)" is a sample i used from the documentary Rising Tones Cross that the homie Jairus Sharif turned me on to. in the doc there's a scene of an artist beatboxing on the street and i made a loop of it and built a song around it.

"at da function" is the name of a song by Herbie Nichols that i read about in the book "black music" by A.B. Spellman in the book it says that Mary Lou Williams recorded the song but i could not find a recording of it anywhere so i call my song a "cover" but its not really a cover i just hope it makes people look for it and in their search that they listen to Herbie Nichols amazing catalogue.
